Lake Michigan United Methodist Camp

Lake Michigan United Methodist Camp is set in the beautiful woods along the sand dunes of the Lake Michigan. Over 160 acres are available for Christian group activities. The facilities include sites for tent camping, RV's (full hookups), fire bowl, ball field, bathhouses, and ½ mile of private beach on Lake Michigan. In addition, it has a fully equipped Retreat Center with cots, showers, and a kitchenette. The Retreat Center is available for families and groups by reservation from late August until spring.

Family camps, students, and other groups are invited to camp at Lake Michigan. Come camp in God's creation, with people you know, and meet new friends, too!

At Lake Michigan United Methodist Camp you can:

Stand at the top of the dunes and gaze out over the Lake - morning or night!
Sit or lie out under the sun or stars.
Stroll along the beach all the way to Pentwater Channel
Walk along the ridge of the dune in the company of beautiful trees and bushes.
Enjoy a great mix of pine and hardwood in the woods
Experience the many different kinds of trees, plants, birds, and animals throughout the camp.
Explore several long trails while cross-country skiing in winter and hiking in summer.
